Week one of my journey to radically improve my running to the point that I can run a sub 3 hour marathon is done. The first week of any purposeful change is always easy for me. Excitement and motivation are high making it easy to find the time.

57km running including a brutal 5km time trial
Average pace 5:22, average HR 151bpm
Average resting HR: 55bpm
This Weeks Goals
For now I am purely trying to reinforce the regular running habit and practice running really easy. With that in mind I have three simple goals for the week:
- Run 5 days of the week, this should in theory result in more than 60kms for the week
- Average HR below 150
- Get a long run of longer than 15km in
